Bird Watching House
Location: Riding Mountain, Wasagaming, Manitoba, CA
Type: Furniture / Industrial
Budget: $50,000
Year: 2019
The project entails designing a multi-functional structure that serves as a bird watch, tree house, and trampoline, combining nature appreciation, playfulness, and adventure. This innovative design aims to provide an engaging and immersive experience for both children and adults in a safe and environmentally friendly manner.
The structure features a high-quality bird-watching platform, strategically positioned to offer unobstructed views of the surrounding environment. The platform will incorporate comfortable seating, binoculars, and informational signage to enhance bird observation and educational experiences.
Adjacent to the bird-watching area, the tree house component will be integrated, providing a unique elevated space for exploration and imaginative play. It will include secure staircases or ladders, platforms, and protective railings to ensure the safety of users. The tree house can serve as a cozy retreat or a vibrant hub for socializing, fostering a deep connection with nature while promoting creativity and social interaction.
To add an element of exhilaration and physical activity, a trampoline will be skillfully integrated into the structure's design. The trampoline's location is selected to minimize impact on the tree and surrounding vegetation, with safety precautions and impact-absorbing materials incorporated. This addition will offer a fun and dynamic experience, allowing visitors to bounce and leap amidst the natural setting, combining the joy of play with the beauty of nature.
Throughout the project, eco-friendly and sustainable materials will be utilized to ensure minimal environmental impact. The structure will be designed to blend harmoniously with the natural surroundings, complementing the existing landscape and preserving the integrity of the ecosystem.
